Digital contact sheet generator
A little bit of background
One of my hobbies is photography. These days, I primarily shoot film.
Sometimes, when I pick up developed rolls from the lab, I get the urge to make contact sheets. Laying out all the frames in a grid, seeing the photos unfold, marking the ones that make the cut. The only problem: I don’t have a light box.
Then it got me thinking: I already have the scanned images, I can just make a digital contact sheet from them.
Project overview:
Contact Sheet Generator: A web app for creating film photography contact sheets from scanned negatives. Upload images into a grid matching film formats (35mm, 120mm in various frame sizes), then export a PNG image styled like a traditional darkroom contact sheet. All processing is client-side.
